BULAWAYO based Prophet Mduduzi Dube aka Black Elisha has bounced back with a contentious book which is likely to set him on a collision course with some Christians.

The book which is titled ‘Why Christians Are Broke’, does not only take a deep comparison between the believers and the non-believers but delves into the scriptures as the prophet seeks to consolidate his claims.

Speaking to The Zambezi Times, The Black Elisha who has attracted many followers in recent years due to his preaching and healing prowess and sometimes his contentious biblical antics said he was compelled to write a book following his observations on Christian lives.

“I feel touched when I see some of the Christians suffer or wallow in poverty as compared to those to non-Christians. Therefore, the book seeks to explore how the Christian community is not empowered or taught in their world how to make money or wealth.

“That’s why most of the time you find that most of the expensive cars are not parked in church but in bars, hotels, stadiums and music concepts. Get me correct, I am not saying Christians should do illegal or unbiblical things in order to earn wealth, but they should have the stamina and technical knowhow on how to make it,” the Black Elisha said.

The Mpopoma based clergy further noted that the book which will hit the market shelves this month also lays out a number of principles for Christians to follow as a route to success.

“The book teaches Christians the right principles of how to make money. There are certain principle which they have to follow

The book also provides a revelation that will change their life style, their thinking. We are the children of Abraham so wealth belongs to us,” he said.

Asked why he decided to use literature to drive his message home, Black Elisha said he wanted his word to go far.

“I have all along been using my preaching platform to share the word, but I later realised that I needed to put in black and white such that the message can be read by different people in different countries and from different backgrounds.”

The book which is set for release by this month end was edited by popular author and publisher Marshal Chiza. The book is being published by Billionaire Publishers.
