CONTROVERSIAL Bulawayo based prophet Mduduzi Dube better known as Black Elisha has released a video of a prophecy he made early this year where he foresaw the ongoing upheavals in the neighboring South Africa.
South Africa has for the past week being battling to contain violent protests which broke out following the incarceration of former president Jacob Zuma over contempt of court charges.
The protests have seen massive looting particularly in Johannesburg and KwaZulu Natal, and destruction of property worth millions of dollars.
In his video that he posted on Facebook on 19 February 2021, Black Elisha appealed for prayers for South Africa adding that failure of which will result in massive protest.
Black Elisha – who has gained a lot of traction because of prophecies and unorthodox ‘healing style’ of late – also prophesised that if left unchecked the protests will degenerate into xenophobia, where foreigners such as Pakistanis and Zimbabweans will be affected.
“I saw protests in South Africa. People will be fighting for a former President in South Africa being accused of corruption. People in South should pray. When these protests come I see attacks, xenophobia. This person is having serious influence,” Black Elisha is quoted as saying in the video which was aired on Facebook.
Dube who leads the Christ Life Generation Church has in the past two years gained popularity owing to his prophecies and controversial healing style.
One of his ‘religious’ tactics that put him on the limelight is the Spiritual Padlock, which he had been using to lock cheating spouses.
The healing style has not gone without any drama and has attracted mixed feelings from different sections of the society.
As if that is not enough, Black Elisha has on numerous occasions threatened to expose religious leaders who are into adultery and fornication business, in the process setting himself on a war path with fellow clerics.
