A SECOND year student at the National University of Science and Technology (NUST) Takudzwa Masapa is not stopping at anything in achieving his dreams of becoming one of the notable leadership authors in the country.
The 21 year old author who is pursuing his first degree in Architecture has bounced back with another well-crafted book titled Amplified Silence.
The book comes hard on the heels of his debut Your Guide To Elite Leadership (2019) and his second, Whosoever Wants To Be Great (2020).
Speaking about his new project, Masapa said it tackles leadership in its broad sense.
“Amplified Silence is an action call to leaders teaching them to develop extraordinary listening skills that will enable them to discern and become attentive to the cries around them before they erupt into crises.
“That unique skill of being able to anticipate, listen and respond to the needs around you, is a game changer that will affect how decision making processes are navigated and how solutions are proffered.,” the young author told The Zambezi Times.
The book which is already in the market was published by Edge Inc with Benson Mapfurutsa as the editor.
On what motivates him, Masapa said: “The key to motivation is to depend on someone or something that is more majestic than all of us. My motivation is infinite. God is my source of motivation.”
He said he draws his inspiration from his widowed mother.
“My mother is my number one source of inspiration; how she single handedly raised my siblings and myself as a widow, afforded us the best education she could, is the greatest inspiration for me to write books,” he said.
But above all, the young author says the sky is the limit and his greatest ambition is to become Zimbabwe’s own John Maxwell.
Maxwell is a bestselling author and world-renowned leadership expert from America.
